Producer - Studio Engineer

Jimmy Branly has engineered over a hundred albums and began this segment of his career in 1999 when he recorded his first solo record "Overdubs", which featured many artists including: Jimmy Haslip. Jimmy Johnson, John Guilutin, Michito Sanches, Alberto Salas, and Sandro Albert. This album was recorded in a small drum room with just enough space for the drums and a small amount of gear. Since this was the recording scenario made available to Jimmy, recording two tracks at a time, he learned how to overdub and how to produce a lot with less. Jimmy Branly started recording and producing albums using ProTools in 2001 which allowed him to reinforce his passion for recording and empowered him to be the engineer and producer he is today. Jimmy's talents are well known and he is currently in demand as a producer, recorder, drummer, and mixing/mastering engineer. He would love to speak with you about your project.

Jimmy now does most of his drum tracks and engineering in his home studio (picture below):

Included is a partial list of engineering credits on albums. On some of these projects he was also asked to be the drummer/percussionist: LA Cuban Band "Charangoa", Michael Whittaker, Chris Colangelo, Damjan Krajacic, Vahag Turgutyan, Tomas Martin Lopez, The Echo Park Proyect, John Tegmeyer, Laura Harrison, Gaea Schell, Jimmy Branly - Ben Clatworthy - John Belzaguy Trio, Ko Kansza, Carol Welsman, Juan Carlos Formel, Bayalo, Los Tres de la habana, Rebeca Mauleón, Otmaro Ruiz, Orestes Vilato, Alberto Salas, Carlos Cuevas, Jimmy Haslip, Choko Kimura, Armando Gola, Alondra Branly, Nick Mancini, and Ar Alder.
